Kasto & Let's Karpool Shine Together on 'Brightest Light'

Let’s Karpool returns to OH2 Records and brings along fellow US producer Kasto. The California-based artists are illuminating Oliver Heldens’ imprint with their newest collaboration, ‘Brightest Light’. With a fresh melodic house groove, a fast-paced tempo and a deeper, emotional twist, this release is more than just catchy: it makes you want to move from the very first beat.

Kasto: Josh (Let's Karpool) sent me a few song ideas to collaborate on. This one in particular stuck out from the airy female vocals and I knew right away that we needed to finish this one. So he sent me the wav files and thus "Brightest Light" was born.

Let’s Karpool The conception of 'Brightest Light' actually started when I was (believe it or not) scrolling on Instagram one day and I stumbled upon an incredible vocalist by the name of Olya Holiday. She posts acapellas and audio recordings specifically for music producers to use and craft tracks with. I immediately followed her on socials and came across her vocal pack on Splice and started messing around with chords immediately. After a couple weeks, the vision for the track was there but I needed some added grit and energy so I passed along the wav files/stems to my good buddy, Ben (Kasto) who I met when I was living in San Diego. This man is a local legend in the SD scene and has always been a great friend of mine so I knew I was in good hands. After some iterations and a couple of submissions to Heldeep later, the track is complete with a brand new first and second drop while still keeping the overall essence of the original track. This track is a culmination of Kasto and I's long-standing work together after previously releasing tracks on Profound Records and Cartel Collective. We hope Brightest Light brings energy to dancefloors across the world and hope that it is as enjoyable to listen to as it was to produce it.
