At its core, how would you describe the music you create, and what is it about that particular style or genre that continues to draw you in and keep you inspired over time?
At its core, I create soulful house music with a warm, nostalgic summer energy. My music lives somewhere between groove-driven house and emotional pop, rhythmically uplifting, but with heart. What keeps drawing me in is the combination of groove and emotion. The various genres of house have this timeless quality, they make you move, but they also make you feel. I'm fascinated by how a simple chord progression, a filtered sample, or a bassline can instantly transport you somewhere. That balance between nostalgia and freshness is what keeps me inspired.
Can you walk us through what a typical day in the studio looks like for you. From the moment you start until you wrap everything up.
A typical studio day starts with listening, not producing. I'll often play tracks that inspire me and just absorb the vibe. Then I open up the project and start with the groove: drums and bass nearly always come first. Once the rhythm feels right, I build harmonies and textures around it. I work very intuitively if something doesn't feel good within seconds, I change it. I'll usually step away a few times during the day to reset my ears, then come back and refine details. I tend to finish sessions by organizing, bouncing rough mixes, and making notes for the next day. Ending with clarity helps me stay creative instead of overwhelmed.
When you look ahead in your music career, what is the bigger dream or goal you’re working toward, and what would it mean to you personally to achieve it?
The bigger dream is to build something lasting, not just release tracks, but create a recognizable sound and identity that people connect with emotionally. I want my music to soundtrack people's summers, their late nights, their good memories. Personally, achieving that would mean the world to me.
Outside of music, what are your passions, hobbies, or small rituals that keep you grounded and inspired when you step away from the studio?
I value simple structure and reflection. I enjoy routines, walking, podcasts, and time with family. Stepping away from screens and noise helps me reset. I'm also very interested in personal development, understanding systems, patterns, and human behavior. That mindset actually feeds back into my music, because I approach creativity in a structured but intuitive way.
If music hadn’t found its way into your life, what kind of path do you think you would have pursued? Probably something like working with people, teaching, guiding. On the other hand I love to build things, so maybe that could be a way to go also.
Do you practice any sports or physical activities, and how do they influence your mindset, discipline, or even your creativity as an artist? I value movement, even if it's simple. Walks, light training, or just staying physically active help clear my head.
What does a truly great night out look like for you, from the energy and environment to the people you choose to share it with?A great night out for me is all about energy and connection. Good sound, warm atmosphere, and people who genuinely enjoy music, not just the scene around it. It doesn't have to be huge. Sometimes the best nights are smaller spaces with a tight crowd, where the groove builds naturally and everyone feels part of the same moment.
When you imagine your perfect escape from everything, what does your ideal vacation look like?
Sun, warmth, good food, and no pressure. Somewhere near the ocean. Mornings that start slow, evenings with music and atmosphere. It's less about luxury and more about space. Space to think and breathe.
Do you have any guilty pleasures that might surprise people who don’t know you that well?
I can get completely absorbed in analyzing sound design or production details in tracks most people would just casually listen to. I'll rewind a 10-second loop ten times just to understand how it's built. Also, I genuinely enjoy structure and planning, probably more than most creative people would admit.
If you could sit down for a dinner with any well-known/famous person, past or present, who would you choose, and what kind of conversation would you hope to have?
Definitely the guys from Daft Punk. I would love to hear how they worked back then.
