Sebastian Wibe continues ‘Intergalactic UKG’ journey on Heldeep Records
Danish producer keeps exploring space between garage house and progressive trance.
After multiple releases on Heldeep Records in the past two years, Sebastian Wibe is steadily becoming synonymous with the label’s new UKG direction. The Danish producer now continues his streak, returning to Oliver Heldens’ imprint to drop his second single of 2026: ‘breathe (i need to)’. Known for his nostalgic take on garage house layered with subtle trance elements in his tracks, Sebastian’s newest record is like oxygen for all UKG lovers. So don’t forget to take a breath and inhale the energy!
‘breathe (i need to)’ is all about realizing you need to take a step back and allow yourself to proces the overwhelming things going on in your life. The song started with nothing but an arpeggiator and a bassline, and finishing the instrumental, made me realize what I wanted the song to express. I wrote and recorded the lyrics and turned what was a vibe, into a message. It’s okay to take a break once in a while. It’s okay to breathe. For the sound, I’m digging deeper into the universe of UKG and trance, combing groovy drums with euphoric synths and a down-to-earth bassline. Been testing this out and it’s been making the dancefloor groove every time. Super happy to sign this one with Heldeep.
