Tollef & CLMD reunite again on OH2 Records - Heldeep Records

Norwegian producers build further on disco-house-meets-hiphop-sound.

Armed as always with his electric guitar, Tollef returns to OH2 Records and reunites with CLMD. Once again, the two Norwegian producers blend disco house with hip-hop, refining a sound they’ve been shaping together. Their newest track ‘Q10’, featuring vocals from Moonshine, really hits that sweet spot between funky melodies and fresh, feel-good rap. It feels like a natural successor to their earlier collaborations, ‘Shut It Down’ and ‘Kill The Club’: tracks that laid the foundation for this fresh direction.

After ‘Shut It Down’ and ‘Kill The Club’, we couldn’t help ourselves from making yet another disco house/rap tune. ‘Q10’ will make even the introverts tap their feet. I hope you enjoy it!

Working on ‘Q10’ with Tollef felt very natural from the start. We both wanted to make something that had real movement in it.. not just programmed energy, but groove you can actually feel in your body. The live bass became the backbone of the track, and once that locked in, everything else just started to bounce.

What really makes this one stand out for me is the contrast. It’s warm, disco-driven and uplifting, but then the rap brings this cool edge on top. When I hear the final version, it just feels alive. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to move without overthinking it.

On the back off last year's release ‘Kill The Club’ from the ‘Say Cheese EP’, Tollef & CLMD are back again at OH2 Records with another disco house record featuring the vocals of Moonshine.

Tollef & CLMD are established artists on Oliver Heldens’ imprint OH2 Records. Their latest collaboration Kill The Club on the Say Cheese EP received support from artists such as Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, The Chainsmokers & MOGUAI, which makes it the second best track performing on the EP.

Tollef often delivers official remixes, recently reworked ‘Heart Cry’ by Oliver Heldens & Poppy Baskcomb. His remix was featured on the official remix pack and quickly became one of the standout tracks. His music has been featured in popular TV shows such as Love Island UK and Made in Chelsea.
